Together

Turns the devices already in the room into one shared screen. Create a room, share the code, present, with no projector, no cable, no meeting invite, and no account needed to join.

The problem

Showing something to the people sitting next to you is still the part that goes wrong. The projector needs a cable nobody has, the screen share needs a meeting that needs an invite that needs an account, and everyone in the room is already holding a screen that would have done the job.

The other half is what happens afterwards. A meeting link outlives the meeting: it sits in a calendar, a chat thread and a history page long after the thing it was for is over.

The approach

A room is created, joined by code, and stops existing when it is done. The product’s own definition is “a room that lasts exactly as long as you need it, then stops existing.” Nothing to clean up afterwards, because nothing is left behind.

Joining takes no account. Whoever is presenting signs in; everyone else types a code, which is what keeps it usable for a room of people who did not plan to be in it.

It works over the same Wi-Fi with no internet connection at all, local-first rather than round-tripping a screen through someone else’s server, which is also what makes it private by default rather than by policy.
